Damongo set for NPP – Abu Jinapor declares at final mega rally

Thousands of enthusiastic supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and constituents of Damongo converged at the GPRTU park on Thursday to participate in the “Final Mega Rally” organized by Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor.

The rally marked the climax of his campaign ahead of the December 7 elections, with the charged crowd expressing their appreciation for the transformative leadership of Hon. Jinapor and the NPP government.

The Member of Parliament for Damongo, Hon. Jinapor, who also serves as the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, addressed the rally amidst chants of his name and NPP slogans.

Supporters carried placards displaying gratitude for the unprecedented development witnessed in the constituency under his stewardship.

Many also declared their belief in Hon. Jinapor and NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as the right leaders to further transform their lives.

In his address, Hon. Jinapor enumerated the numerous developmental projects undertaken during his tenure. He stressed advancements in agriculture, education, healthcare, road infrastructure, sports, and job creation, assuring the crowd of even greater developments if re-elected.

“Over the past four years, we have provided job opportunities through the construction of schools, Astroturfs, maternity blocks, community centers, and more.”

“In almost every town, you can see the footprints of Lawyer Jinapor and the NPP. Let’s continue this progress by voting for me and Dr. Bawumia,” he said.

The MP further promised significant projects in his next term, including the establishment of a regional hospital, a university, and a Gonja hospital in Damongo.

Calling for peaceful elections, Hon. Jinapor appealed for forgiveness from anyone he may have offended during his first term and urged constituents to focus on the future.

“Saturday is a fight between your son and your in-law. In the name of God, Insha Allah, Abu Jinapor will maintain the Damongo seat,” he declared confidently.

The Savannah Regional Minister, Hon. Saeed Muhazu Jibril, also addressed the crowd, emphasizing that the NPP’s achievements have “banned the ghost of the NDC” from the constituency.

He cautioned against “skirt and blouse” voting, urging constituents to vote for Hon. Jinapor as MP and Dr. Bawumia as President.

The constituency chairman echoed similar sentiments, expressing optimism about a landslide victory for the NPP.

“The outstanding works of Hon. Jinapor and the NPP in this constituency have made our message resonate powerfully with the people,” he said.

Hajia Safia Mohammed, the Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the NPP, praised Hon. Jinapor as a unifier and agent of progress.

She urged the electorate to rally behind him for continued development in the Damongo Constituency.
