Sam George chides contender: NDC delegates ‘punished’ your lies against me

Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam Natey George said the delegates in the just-ended NDC parliamentary primaries punished his contender for spewing lies about him.

According to him, he will never forget the lies Michael Tetteh Kwetey churned out about him in the run-up to the primaries.

Speaking on Face to Face on Citi TV Tuesday, May 16 Sam George narrated how his contender spread lies about him and his family.

Sam George defeated Michael Kwettey Nettey with 1,036 votes in the Saturday, May 13 primary.

Allegations of rigging marred the elections during which the police arrested two people at the New Ningo D/A Basic School B polling station.

This led to voting being halted briefly and resumed after the intervention of the national leadership of the party.

He said, “It is because of his petty evil lies that the delegates rubbed his face in the mud. Lies that make the devil shout the blood of Jesus.”

“The devil couldn’t believe a human being will sit and formulate such lies.”

“He attacked my wife and my children.”

“He went about saying that I used Common Fund to take care of my wife and buy a land cruiser.”

“The delegates, however, realized that he was a joker because some of these lies were unintelligent,” Mr George added.

He intimated that his victory was not a surprise as his contender thought the lies would have inured to his benefit.
