FDA warns public against fake recruitment messages

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has urged the public to be cautious of fake recruitment scams through email messages to avoid falling victim to the perpetrators.

It said, “These scams often involve fraudulent messages or emails asking for personal information or money in exchange for jobs at the FDA.

“To avoid falling victim to these scams be cautious of messages or emails asking for personal information or payment.”

The FDA in a disclaimer notice signed by its Chief Executive Officer stated, “We wish to notify the public of recent fake recruitment scams,” and advised the public to report suspicious messages to its head office or regional offices nationwide.
