Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is taking a break from the campaign trail as the party gears up to launch its manifesto this weekend.
In a statement signed by the campaign director of communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the campaign disclosed that the flagbearer would spend the period preparing and putting final touches on the party’s manifesto.
“The Leader of the New Patriotic Party will together with the team, spend the next few days to prepare and finalize the NPP 2024 Manifesto, which is scheduled to be launched on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia resumes the campaign tour immediately after the manifesto launch,” the release read.
The statement hinted that “Jobs and Businesses” will be the focal points of the manifesto yet to be outdoored.
