“The government is committed to ensuring that Ghana reaps the maximum benefits from the exploitation of lithium and other green minerals.”
“The new policy framework reflects our dedication to this goal,” a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission, Martin Kwaku Ayisi said.
He clarified that no recommendation has been submitted to the Minister for granting a mining lease for the development of the Ewoyaa Lithium deposits.
He emphasized that Atlantic Lithium Limited’s current possession is that of a prospecting license under its local subsidiary, Barari Development Ghana Limited
Reassuring the public, Mr. Ayisi expressed the government’s unwavering commitment to guarantee that the nation optimally benefits from the sustainable exploitation of lithium and other green minerals.
