Victor Yaw Asante, the Managing Director of FirstBank Ghana says the Bank is committed to delivering top-notch services and innovative solutions to meet the needs of Ghanaian customers.
He said FirstBank is priotising the convienece of it clients making sure “we are digitised, We make sure we give the clients what they need; we have rolled out alot of such platforms.”
Mr. Asante further indicated “These are the things that drive our work and that will not change. We always focus on the client, what the cutomers need we solustion them.”
The FirstBank Ghana MD made the disclosure in an interview following the rebranding of FBNBank Ghana to FirstBank Ghana.
He assured the Bank’s teeming clients that the rebranding is another chance to serve them better.
“Our values don’t change, nothing changes, we believe we are epic, we are enterpreneural, we are professionals, we are customercentric, our service will continue to be the best” Mr. Asante noted.
In the view of the FirstBank Ghana MD, the only thing that will change is “that we will continue to be better than yesterday; we have to be first not just in name but also in nature.”
The bank, which first changed its name from International Commercial Bank Ghana to FBNBank, is a member of the 130-year-old FirstBank of Nigeria Limited, and has been operating in the country for the past 28 years.
It may be recalled that Board members, management, staff and other stakeholders converged in Accra recently to unveil the new name.
It was a moment of reflection on the footprints made by the bank since its establishment in Ghana as it ushered in a fresh corporate name.
‘FirstBank’ is leveraging on its strong heritage and brand equity to position it in a stronger way.
This will result in better brand clarity, uniformity and consistency for the benefit of its stakeholders, particularly its customers across its global footprints.
