Football legend Abedi Ayew Pele has praised the quality of players in the Black Galaxies camp ahead of the team’s qualifier against Nigeria this month.
The qualifier is the first of two games involving the two rivals to determine the country that progresses to next year’s CHAN that is to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
The CHAN is a continental championship eligible for only players competing in national leagues in African countries.
“What I’ve discovered is (that) you have a very good team, strong physically, technically, wonderful so for me, the future is in the making. The future of Ghana football is in the making…the playing body, tactically very strong. It’s a very good pleasure for my team to have this experience to play against you people…and I will make sure that I be with you in Accra (for the game against Nigeria)” Abedi Aye said after his side Nania FC played a friendly game with the Galaxies.
Playing against Nania FC is part of the Galaxies preparation for the big game; the Galaxies drew 1-1 with fellow Access Bank Division One side Swedru All Blacks in a prior friendly game.
