Mr. Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has passed away. His death marks the end of a significant political career spanning over a decade within the party.
He was first elected as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman in 2009 and served in that capacity until 2022. He lost his re-election bid to the current regional chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore.
Beyond his contributions to politics, Mr. Ade Coker also played a role in Ghanaian football. He previously served as a Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), demonstrating his involvement in various aspects of national life.
