Akuapem South NPP: Let Me Contest; OB Amoah ‘Ouster’ Cries

Honourable Frank Aiddo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary aspirant for Akuapem South Constituency wants the party to allow him to contest the Parliamentary primaries.

He argued that he was disqualified from contesting the seat because the incumbent Member of Parliament O. B Amoah was in the race.

In a letter to the General Secretary of the party, Mr. Aiddo insisted that he should be allowed to contest the parliamentary seat now that Mr. Amoah is not contesting.

“I believe in the spirit of fairness and equity, I can now be allowed to contest now that the member of Parliament is no longer in the race” the letter read in part.”
