Black Stars: Saudi clubs interested in Jordan Ayew- Reports

Ghana Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew is attracting interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League with a move seemingly on the horizon for the veteran player from English  Premier League side Crystal Palace.

This is according to journalist Alan Nixon who reported last month that Leicester City is interested in signing Ayew after gaining promotion to compete in the 2024-2025  EPL season.

Leicester’s interest in Ayew is reportedly connected to his time playing for Leicester City manager Steve Cooper during their time together at Swansea City.

According to Nixon, some Saudi clubs are prepared to match Leicester City in the race for Jordan Ayew who looks to have fallen out of favour of Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner despite Ayew’s fine performance in preseason.

Ayew was expected to feature prominently for Palace after the exit of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich but Palace signed Senegal international Ismaila Sarr from Olympique Marseille to replace Olise.
