Ghana Premier League club Aduana FC has announced the appointment of Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica as their new head coach.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the news via a Facebook post on Tuesday, December 10, with the message, “Aristica is home. Welcome back, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚.”
This appointment follows Aduana FC’s decision to part ways with Yaw Acheampong due to a series of poor performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Under Acheampong’s tenure, the team struggled to find form, managing only two wins, six draws, and suffering four defeats.
Currently sitting in 13th place on the league table with 12 points from 12 matches, Aduana FC faces significant challenges ahead.
The team is eager to improve their standing and contend for the Ghana Premier League title.
Coach Cioaba Aristica is expected to make an immediate impact as he takes charge of the Fire Boys.
His first test will come next weekend when Aduana FC faces Berekum Chelsea in a Week 13 fixture of the 2024/25 league season.
