Ahead of the Ghana School of Law’s Students Representative Council elections, A Law Student at Ghana School of Law, UPSA Campus, BeGreat D. Osei Wereko, has made a passionate appeal to delegates to vote for Michael Obiri-Adjei for the position of SRC President
“Michael Obiri-Adjei is a gentleman who is distinguished in character, affable in personality, dedicated to humanity, and who cares not only for his peers but all manner of persons,” stated after endorsing Osei Wereko
The elections, scheduled for Tomorrow ,Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30, 2025, have generated considerable excitement among students, with several candidates vying for leadership.
Amid the buzz, Osei Wereko praised all candidates for their hard work and dedication but singled out Obiri-Adiei as the standout choice.
He emphasized that leadership at the Ghana School of Law demands strategic advocacy, fearless representation, and genuine service to students — qualities he believes Obiri-Adiei embodies.
“For many of us, our conviction is that the SRC must be very vocal, purposeful, and pursue strategic advocacy for the welfare of students. Having known Obiri-Adjei for some time now, I have no doubt in his ability to get students the needed results through his fearless, time-tested, and unquestionable advocacy skills,” he added.
Osei Wereko also highlighted the practicality and research-backed nature of Obiri-Adjei’s proposed programmes and vision, describing them as genuine and achievable, not “mere rhetoric.”
“For an SRC that works, that cares, and that gets results, please vote Obiri-Adjei as our next SRC President. He is NUMBER 4 on the ballot. Obiri is here both to lead and to serve,” he urged his colleagues.
The elections promise to be highly competitive as candidates continue to intensify their campaigns. With endorsements like this, Obiri-Adjei’s candidacy gains significant momentum heading into the polls.
