Former Hearts of Oak defender Acquah Harrison has expressed his disappointment with the current state of the team, describing them as a waste of a football team.
Harrison, who was part of the Hearts of Oak squad that won the inaugural CAF Confederations Cup, expressed his frustration in an interview with Onua Sports.
When asked about the last time he watched his former club play, Harrison said, “It’s been a while since I watched Accra Hearts of Oak matches because anytime I watch them, they make me feel like they are not serious. During our time, we were committed, serious, and always wanted to win, but this current team has destroyed everything. They don’t know the meaning of the rainbow colours they wear. I will watch European football than waste my time on Accra Hearts Of Oak.”
Harrison, who has transitioned into coaching, is now seeking an opportunity to work with a top team. His comments reflect his disappointment with the current state of affairs at Hearts of Oak and his preference to watch European football instead.
