Nobody is commending you for your sterling performance as the Auditor General of the Republic so far.
You decided not to play at the gallery. Yours is only to perform a task as assigned to you by the Constitution of the country.
Many were sceptical and angry when you were asked to act as the Auditor General.
They criticized the appointment to the roof. They thought you were coming to do the bidding of the Government.
They thought you would cover the loopholes that involved the Government.
But you were quiet, just strategizing how you would unravel the financial malaise of our state organizations.
So far, you have demonstrated your competence and professionalism to the admiration of all.
We saw and heard your immediate predecessor who acted and behaved more like a politician whose objective was to unseat a ruling party for his party to win an election for his candidate.
He was loud on various Media stations, having unnecessary banter with government officials.
It was a baseless effort on his part.
He took the Office as his personal asset or possession.
He had the support of the civil society organizations and the leading opposition party who had become his praise singers and guardians.
He was almost worshipped by them as if he was the only independent and most dedicated and committed government official.
Today, nobody cares to applaud you for your integrity, professionalism, and independence. (Johnson Asiamah).
You didn’t care who is in the chair. You are doing your work for the people of Ghana.
Mr. Auditor General, keep on salvaging the nation from the state institutions that are breaching the financial laws.
Your mannerism is exemplary.
I see you as the cynosure of all in the independent auditing of our financial books.
Keep up the good work for Mother Ghana.
I commend the President for your choice.
I also commend the Government for declining to interfere in your job.
I pray that the Attorney General who is a neighbour, will assist you in prosecuting those found culpable.
Once again, kudos for your excellent and tantalizing performance.
With your kind in the saddle of affairs, Ghana will be saved.
