A National Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Prof Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi says his tenure as chairman will see the introduction of a welfare package for party officers.
According to him it is long overdue to have such a package for officers who have served the party.
The welfare system, the Former Director-General of the Ghana Education Service noted, will include end of service benefits.
Interacting with delegates during his nationwide campaign tour in some constituencies in the Central Region, the former Minister of Education stated that his resolve to expand the frontiers of unity, discipline and commitment is unwavering.
The nationwide campaign tour which began from his home region,-Bono East has seen him visit Gomoa Central, Gomoa East, Ajumako Enyam Essiam, Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, Awutu Sanya East and Awutu Sanya West.
Earlier Prof Ameyaw-Akumfimet interacted with party executives in Cape Coast South, Cape Coast North, KEEA, Agona East, Efutu and Mfantseman Constituencies.
