Former Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, Isaac Osei, has urged delegates of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential candidacy, emphasizing credibility and economic solutions.
Addressing delegates at a campaign rally in Subin, Ashanti Region, Mr. Isaac Osei passionately urged members of the party to select Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Osei highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s unwavering commitment to standing firm and offering viable solutions to the current economic challenges.
He contrasted Dr. Bawumia’s steadfastness with the actions of flagbearer aspirants who opted to shy away from the crucial issues, only to sit on the sidelines and point fingers at those still in government for the problems they had evaded.
Acknowledging the NPP government’s notable achievements, Osei acknowledged that there were also areas where things had not gone as planned.
He, however, affirmed that Vice President Bawumia acknowledges the gravity of the country’s economic difficulties and pledges to introduce fresh solutions if chosen to lead the NPP.
“Unlike those who refuse to accept responsibility for the ongoing economic challenges, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is not one to shy away from accountability.”
“Instead, he brings forth innovative solutions for the NPP government and the nation’s economy.”
Osei’s deep connection to the Subin constituency was evident as he passionately urged the delegates to vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Bawumia, stating, “My heart is here in Subin.”
In addition, the former MP underscored the significance of having someone as composed, knowledgeable, and spiritually guided as Dr. Bawumia within the NPP ranks.
He regarded this as a tremendous blessing, pointing out that the Vice President’s campaign has been characterized by its cleanliness and credibility, devoid of insults and abusive tactics to garner votes.
With these resounding endorsements, Isaac Osei passionately urged NPP delegates to unite behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, recognizing his credibility, economic acumen, and commitment to serving the party and the nation.
