Bawumia Eulogies John Kumah

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party have eulogized the late Deputy Minister of Finance Dr. John Kumah describing him as a rising and shining star.

Dr.  Bawumia signing the book of condolence on Friday opened in the memory of Dr. Kumah further wrote: “no one had a bad word to say about you…..”

This afternoon, I visited the home of Hon. John Ampontuah Kumah to commiserate with the immediate family and sign the book of condolences.

I was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom), and government and party officials.

I had the opportunity to work with John on several projects to my greatest admiration.

Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son.

My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones.

Dr. Kumah, a member of the NPP and Member of Parliament Ejisu Constituency passed away in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, while en route to Germany for medical treatment.

His untimely death at the age of 45 has left the parliamentary community in mourning.

 

John Kumah
