Joycelyn Tetteh’s ‘Going to school with joy’ initiative empowers over 800 students in North Dayi

Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, Member of Parliament for North Dayi Constituency, has successfully implemented the third edition of her educational support program, ‘Going To School With Joy,’ benefitting over 800 qualified Senior High School students.

As part of her comprehensive support, the MP distributed essential items to the students, including mattresses for their beds, chop boxes to hold provisions, school bags for classes, sanitary pads for hygiene, exercise books for coursework, and provisions such as gari, sugar, sardines, and milk.

Additionally, day students received financial assistance to meet their specific needs.

Addressing both parents and students, Hon. Joycelyn emphasized the importance of dedication to education.

She urged students to engage in extensive reading, maintain focus in class, and be punctual, reminding them of their role in bringing pride to North Dayi Constituency, their parents, and herself.

To parents and guardians, Hon. Joycelyn called for continued support and heightened interest in their children’s future, emphasizing the value of investing in education over material possessions that may not yield lasting impacts.

Expressing her unwavering commitment to serving the constituents and the nation, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh stated that her investment in educational support is aimed at alleviating the financial burden on parents, particularly during these challenging socioeconomic times in Ghana.
