Ada Constituency NPP parliamentary aspirant pledges clean election campaign

Madam Dornukie Naa Norteye, the parliamentary aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ada Constituency, has pledged to the people of Ada to conduct a clean campaign towards the December 7 general election.

Madam Nortey said this when the vice-presidential candidate for the party, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Ada, Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III.

She urged the people of Ada to consider the campaign messages of the various aspirants before voting, noting that hercampaign message would focus on policies rather than hate speeches.

Madam Dornukie stated that the support from the residents had always inspired her to go the extra mile to change the fortunes of the Ada State in her own small way, hence her intention to represent them in parliament to lobby for the development of the area.

“We need to come together to develop Ada, and so there will be no need to speak ill about anybody. Ada deserves better and even more, as I always say. Those who came before us did their parts, and it is our turn as youths to carry the cross. We need to put politics aside and focus on the development of Ada and vote for the person who can bring change,” she added.

Mr Ebenezer Teye-Nartey Kisseh, the NPP Ada Constituency Chairman, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), disclosed that Madam Norteye had been very instrumental in the development of the area, and that was why party executives and members were supporting her to win the seat.

“The people of Ada have seen the difference between Madam Norteye and other parliamentary candidates, and so there is no need for any argument about party politics,’’ he said.

He urged the constituents to vote massively for Dornukie to get the change Ada wanted.
