President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to take his nationwide, “Thank You Tour” to Upper West and Greater Accra Regions on Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16, respectively.
The “Thank You Tour” is to enable the President express gratitude to the Chiefs and People of the two Regions for their massive support for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general election.
According to the Presidency, President Mahama is expected to address a durbar of the Chiefs and People of the Upper West Region at the Jubilee Park in Wa on Thursday, May 15, at 1400 hours.
The President will then return to Accra for a similar durbar of the Chiefs and People of the Greater Accra Region on Friday, May 16.
The nationwide “Thank You Tour”, which has already taken President Mahama to the Volta, Western, Central, Upper East and Northern Regions, also affords him the opportunity to interact with Ghanaians, reinforce his commitment to addressing their concerns, and promote national development.
