In a thought-provoking Easter Message to his Constituents, Ghana and the World, the Majority Leader/Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has called for oneness as Ghana, and the world, seek solutions in post-covid era.
His short, but unifying, message reads:
The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ affirmed His supremacy over life’s tribulations.
God created us in His own image and likenesses. So do we possess the power to triumph over trials and tribulations that confront us from wherever.
May this Easter bring us the strength to overcome the storms in our lives and the fortitude to resist the devil-inspired temptations as we strive for success.
The shedding of blood by, and the death of Christ Jesus represents atonement for humanity’s sins and reconciliation of God with mankind once again. May this Easter grant us the power and purpose to forgive and reconcile with one another in the spirit of the prayer that Jesus Christ taught us: Father, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
May the mercy and blessings of the Easter envelope all of us.
