A 37-year-old man, Kwabena Ebo, is in dire need of medical assistance after suffering from severely swollen testicles for over a decade.
The condition began after a sexual encounter with his ex-girlfriend in a bush at Gomoa Dawurampong in Ghana’s Central Region.
Recounting his ordeal in an interview with Accra-based Onua FM, Ebo revealed that the incident occurred approximately ten years ago, shortly after his wife had given birth.
He explained that while harvesting cassava for his wife, he was seduced by his ex-girlfriend, who had previously threatened him after their breakup.
Ebo narrated, “I was working at Kasoa and my wife had just given birth. She asked me to harvest some cassava from the farm for her. My ex-girlfriend had threatened me, saying, ‘Wait and you’ll see,’ but I never took her seriously. She came to the farm when I was there, supposedly to fetch some firewood.”
“She wasn’t wearing any underpants and showed me her private parts. I don’t know what came over me, but I had sex with her in the bush. After that, I started experiencing pain when I urinated. It began like a bilharzia,” he added.
Despite his family’s efforts to find a cure, including performing rituals on the farm where the incident took place, Ebo’s condition worsened. They enlisted the help of a pastor who was also a herbalist, but the rituals did not bring any relief.
“We were told to go and see the lady, but my family said that would be costly, so we should perform the rituals on the farm. We procured all the needed items, but the ritual didn’t work for me because I had no faith in it. The pastor said we still owed him GH¢200.00, and without full payment, the condition would persist,” Ebo explained.
Now confined to his room and barely able to move, Ebo has made a desperate plea to the public for assistance. “I need help to get relieved from my situation,” he appealed.
