Morocco are currently favourites to get the nod for the hosting rights to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
A number of countries have made bids to host the 35th edition of the tournament but the North African country are ahead of the pack with world-class facilities in place.
The 1976 AFCON winners have presented six stadiums as they await a decision from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on February 10.
The stadiums are; Grand Stade de Tanger, Complexes Sportif de Fés, Stade Adrar in Agadair, Stade de Marrakech, Stade Moulay Abdallah and Stade Mohammed V.
In an interview with 3Sports, the Director of the Mohammed VI Sports Complex, Mr Hassan Kharbouch expressed Morocco’s readiness to host the competition.
“Morocco over the past few years has hosted many international competitions, and we are always ready to host any tournament because we have everything it takes to make the host a successful one.
“The sporting infrastructure of the country has gone through massive investment in the past years, and we are beginning to see progress in our football, especially with our performances across various national teams,” he stated.
Mr Hassan also detailed the facilities at the national sporting complex which include an Olympic size swimming pool, over 1000 rooms for players, four natural grass football pitches and more.
He added that there are more sporting complexes spread across the country.
