Naa Djama Prempeh, wife of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, has actively campaigned for the party among women voters in the Greater Accra Region, a key electoral battleground in Ghana’s elections.
Speaking to women in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom constituency on Monday, November 5, Naa Djama Prempeh emphasized the importance of women’s unity for regional and personal development.
She urged women in the community to mobilize their families and friends to support NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the constituency’s Member of Parliament, Sylvester Tetteh.
With Greater Accra regarded as a bellwether region, her outreach reflects the NPP’s strategic efforts to secure votes in this crucial area ahead of the upcoming election.
“The development of Ghana will translate into your personal development. When women are determined to achieve a goal, they go on to achieve it so I entreat us women to work together for the development of the country.
“I plead with you to encourage your families and friends to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, number 1 on the ballot and also vote for your MP,” Sylvester Tetteh.
