National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah has called on Ghanaians to cease attacking the nation’s security service officers.
Speaking at a meeting with traditional leaders in the Northern Region, Mr. Kan-Dapaah emphasized the importance of giving security personnel the necessary support to perform their duties effectively.
He stressed the critical services rendered by Ghana’s security forces and urged citizens to appreciate these contributions instead of responding with hostility.
“This is the time Ghanaians must learn to appreciate and support the work of the security agencies, the soldiers, the police, the immigration officers, the prison officers, and all the institutions involved in providing security.”
“They are the people who have made it possible for us to feel secure. Going forward, they are the ones who provide the necessary services for us to feel secure,” he said.
The National Security Minister stressed that under no circumstance should anyone attack security personnel, regardless of provocation.
