The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has temporarily suspended all party activities across the country in a bid to maximize its efforts in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise.
The party issued a directive following a deliberation by the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) during their meeting on September 18, 2023, at the party headquarters.
A statement from the party said the decision is aimed at allowing party executives at all levels to channel their energy and resources exclusively toward mobilizing and encouraging citizens to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
The limited voter registration exercise is a crucial event leading up to the upcoming elections, and the NDC is determined to ensure that as many eligible voters as possible are registered.
Party members, supporters, and stakeholders are urged to take note of this directive and comply accordingly.
