NDC warns Bawku Central members over ‘anti-party activities’

The National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a warning to its members in the Bawku Central Constituency following a video that surfaced, showing individuals engaging ‘in anti-party activities’.

The video, which depicts members in Bawku Central burning NDC paraphernalia, has prompted the party’s leadership to take action against what they describe as “gross misconduct.”

In a statement signed by the NDC General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party emphasized its commitment to discipline and unity.

“These actions have demonstrated a blatant disregard for these values, bringing disrepute to our esteemed party,” the statement read.”

He stressed that such behaviour violates the core principles and values that the party upholds.

The decision to caution the involved individuals, Fifi Kwetey said, was made after thorough deliberation and in adherence to the party’s constitution.

“This measure is necessary to maintain the sanctity and order within our party,” Kwetey stated.

The statement also urged all NDC members to uphold the party’s principles and avoid actions that could harm its image.

It reinforced the party’s focus on its mission to address governance issues under the current administration.

“We in the NDC remain focused in our quest to rescue the country from the cluelessness and ineptness of the super incompetent Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government,” the statement added.
