The biggest Opposition Party, National Democratic Congress(NDC) will continue with their internal elections to elect their executives who will lead the party in the next four (4) years.
However, the party has already completed with polling stations, constituency and Regional Elections as left with Women, Youth and National Executives elections in that portfolio.
The Former Director of International Relations and current member of NDC election committee, Alex Segbefia, has disclosed that come Saturday 10th December 2022 Women and Youth Conference will be held at University of Cape Coast.
He added that, the party chose Cape Coast because over three decades Central Region has been of help to the NDC whenever such conferences emerges.
He said 1,086 delegates will votes for candidates vying for Youth Organiser position whiles 886 delegates will votes for women organiser position.
He stressed that, the National Delegates Conference which will have 8,964 delegates across the country will be held at the Nations Wembley Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 17th December 2022.
He revealed that, the above delegates will lodge at Legon before they converge to Accra Sports Stadium on 17th December 2022.
He said this during a press conference at the NDC’s headquarters Adabraka in Accra under the theme”Rallying for Victory 2024 Ghana’s Hope”.
The Electoral Commission(EC) has collaborated with NDC Election Committee to put measures in place to have a successful elections. He said.
Mr. Alex Segbefia urged all party faithfuls to rally support the election committee to come out as United party.
