Davido’s ex-signee wanted over death of man at nightclub

A Nigerian musician by name Trevboi, has been declared wanted for his alleged involvement in the death of a man on July 15, at a night club in Lagos, Nigeria.

In a post on Twitter, a social media user alleged that Trevboi, a former signee on Davido’s label, shot the deceased at about 3:00 am.

The incident leading to the death of the young man, only identified as Kenny, reportedly took place at Bar 38 Nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos State.

The Lagos Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, announced that his outfit has already begun investigations into the incident.

“We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody. Investigation is ongoing.”

Meanwhile, a report by Linda Ikeji’s blog reported that a fight broke out at the club after Trevboi had refused to pay his bill while leaving.

The musician reportedly got into a disagreement with the bar’s security after they attempted to stop him from leaving.

However, the blog reports that an altercation broke out and when the deceased stepped in to stop any fights he was shot.
