We’re winning Assin North by-election hands down – NPP

National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has declared the party will win the Assin North by-election hands down.

The NPP, he said, is ready for the by-election, which is scheduled for June 27.

According to him, the level of development undertaken by the government in the constituency in the past years is amazing.

“Superb first-class roads, a beautiful Astroturf sports field, water projects, schools, and more, just to mention but a few.”

Salam Mustapha made the prediction when he addressed a media engagement forum dubbed the ‘Truth and Facts Series’ organized by the national youth wing at the party headquarters on Wednesday 31st May 2023.

He stated that the NPP under the leadership of Chairman Stephen Ntim and General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong chalked a massive victory in the Kumawu by-election to retain the seat for the party.

The Kumawu victory, he said, is the recognition of Ghanaians of the massive work of the NPP government.

This testament, he said, will be replicated in Assin North as the party is poised for yet another victory.

Mr. Salam Mustapha disclosed that the national youth wing under his leadership toured all 16 regions of the country to rejuvenate ordinary members.

According to him, what they saw and experienced indicates the NPP is ready, not only for by-elections but the 2024 general elections

The NPP, the National Youth organizer said, is on its way to making history as the first political party to win elections three consecutive times.

He said, “We are breaking the 8 by the Grace of God. The energy, zeal, and fire-in-belly we saw at the grassroots have left us with a reinforced and indelible belief that victory will be ours.

“We are proud elephants, a special animal with extreme intelligence and compassion.”

According to him, the tour revealed a lot that the government, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has done so much that no administration in the history of Ghana can beat, in terms of infrastructural development.

He cited the new youth resource center, Ho township roads, a 1D1F factory in Adaklu and dualization of the Accra-Kumasi road, the Agenda 111 Hospital project being built across several districts, construction of schools, roads, and many more as examples.
