The Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has predicted the probable outcome of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primary which will take place on Saturday.

He specifically spoke about the performance of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and stated that he would be surprised if his colleague got even 20% of the votes.

Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is the Member of Parliament for Suame.

The leader of the Majority side in Parliament who took his turn on M’abato, Akoma FM‘s evening political show, also stated, “Kennedy Agyapong would not even get 15% in the Ashanti Region.”

The seven-time lawmaker says Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s economic acumen is unquestionable and that he is the right person to change the economic situation.

Over 200,000 delegates are expected to decide on four candidates as the ruling party chooses a flagbearer for the 2024 general election.
