Ofosu Ampofo cut sod for Biakoye party office

Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, has cut -sod for the construction of an ultra-modern office complex to serve as Biakoye Secretariat of the party in the Oti Region.

    The project to be completed by the end of this year would contain an executive room, MP’s office washrooms and a large compound for a car and other stuff.

         He commended the Member of Parliament, Mr Kwadjo Nyapon-Aboagye for taking up this initiative of getting a permanent party Secretariat for the constituency by securing land for the project.

    Speaking at a brief sod-cutting ceremony, Mr Gyapon Kwadjo, the regional chairman of the party said he will support 100 bags of cement, Mr Oti Bless MP for Nkwanta North pledged 50 bags of cement and other members also promised 50 each bags of cement to ensure timely completion of the project.

Mr Ofosu Ampofo used the occasion to thank the party members and appealed to constituents to continue to repose their confidence in the NDC and Mr Kwadjo Nyapon-Aboagye as the MP for the area.

   Mr Asiwome Yaw Ameglah, the constituency chairman commended the MP for his numerous supports to the constituency.

He was grateful to the member of parliament for the initiative and noted that the dream of getting the party office was finally becoming a reality and would reduce the cost of the phone in times of emergencies meetings.
