Oppong Nkrumah endorses Bawumia: Pledges NPP Chairman and Ofoase Ayirebi’s support for the Veep

Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to lead the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in next year’s presidential elections.

He hailed Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to the party and stressed his pivotal role in defending the party.

Dr. Bawumia, he said, has consistently shown dedication and unwavering support for the NPP.

“When we needed men to defend our party, Dr. Bawumia made himself available and committed himself to it. If today we need a man to lead our party to battle, who should it be? It should be Dr. Bawumia, ” Hon. Oppong Nkrumah wrote in a flyer making rounds on social media, expressing his confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership abilities.

The Information Minister and also Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi pledged his vote and that of the party’s Chairman to Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming super delegates’ elections this month.

He emphasized the duo’s belief that Bawumia’s leadership would propel the party to greater heights.

He disclosed that not only will Dr. Bawumia receive the endorsement of the party leaders, but Ofoase Ayirebi delegates are also expected to unite in a massive show of gratitude for his contributions to the party and the constituency.

He said, “This month, I and our Chairman will go and vote for him and in November, Ofoase Ayirebi delegates will also have the opportunity to vote for him massively to show gratitude for what Dr. Bawumia has done for the party and Ofoase Ayirebi”
