Patrick Yaw Boamah appointed Ambassador for 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations

Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamha, has been appointed Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations by the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG).

In a letter of invitation and appointment, the Council commended Boamah for his unwavering commitment to promoting the welfare of families, communities, and humanity at large through his numerous philanthropic efforts.

“We respectfully invite you as a Very Special Guest to the official launch of the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations. In addition, due to your philanthropic initiatives, we are pleased to appoint you as Ambassador to the Christian Home Week Celebrations, effective April 23, 2025,” the letter stated.

As Ambassador, Boamah will play a key role in supporting and promoting the annual Christian Home Week Celebrations. He will be tasked with engaging parliamentarians and other stakeholders to drive participation and ensure the success of the event.

The 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations will be officially launched on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Head Office.

Hon. Boamah is expected to deliver an address at the launch ceremony.

This year’s celebration is themed “Celebrating Marriage the Right and Meaningful Way” and will feature prominent speakers, including the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed, as well as Ambassador Dr. and Dr. Mrs. Alabo.

Through this initiative, the Christian Council aims to promote strong marriages and family values, fostering a culture of love, respect, and understanding within Ghanaian society.

In his ambassadorial role, Boamah is also expected to propose ideas for enhancing the celebrations, in addition to serving as a champion for the Christian Council’s broader mission of community development and faith-based leadership.
