Salam Mustapha: NPP National Youth Organizer tasks Youth Wing to pursue ‘breaking the 8’ with fortitude and innovation

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has urged the youth wing to display fortitude and courage in the party’s pursuit of a third term in government.

He emphasized that winning elections three times in a row is no easy feat but expressed the youth wing’s determination to bring more innovation on board to attract more young people to join the party and continue its tradition.

Addressing the wing’s Mentorship Forum held on August 3, 2023, Salam Mustapha praised the exemplary leadership set by past youth leaders of the party and encouraged the present youth to be innovative in their efforts to garner more support for the NPP.

“The Mentorship Forum will travel to all the regions to groom, train, and shape young minds to become resourceful leaders for the party and the nation,” Mr. Mustapha revealed.

He emphasized the crucial role of the National Youth Wing in grooming responsible leaders for both the party and the nation.

He urged the attendees to, therefore, work hard and influence others when they return to their respective campuses and institutions, spreading the positive message of the NPP, its roots, traditions, ideologies, and the government’s impact on the lives of Ghanaians.

Mr. Mustapha stated that breaking the 8 is a challenging task, therefore, the National Youth Wing aims to involve more young people who can carry on the party’s legacy and traditions.

He stressed that grooming good and responsible leaders for the party and the nation is a crucial responsibility of the National Youth Wing, and the Mentorship Forum will play an important role in achieving that goal.

Speaking on the performance of the NPP, Mr Mustapha emphasized that Ghanaians can now distinguish between a good government and a bad one.

According to him, a bad government focuses on investing in guinea fowl, while a good government prioritizes building schools, providing free SHS, constructing 111 hospitals at once, and bringing in over 300 ambulances at once, all for the betterment of the country’s citizens.

These, he said, are the messages that should be carried to the Ghanaians to emphasize why they should retain the NPP in power come 2024.
