Ablekuma South NPP Parliamentary Candidate Visits New Mamprobi Accident Victim

Mr.  Samuel Sarbah Lartey, the Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ablekuma South Constituency has visited the victim of the recent accident at New Mamprobi in the Greater Accra Region.

The victim, wife of the former Ward Coordinator, Mr. Owusu was injured as a result of the incident.

This accident occurred on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1 am when the driver of a Toyota 4×4 Car in an attempt to avoid a dog crossing the road rather veered into the house of the victim at Bukom Lion, a suburb in the Constituency.

As a result, the car broke down the fence wall and parts of the building to the extent of damaging the window of the room where the victim was sleeping.

The driver died on the spot.

Mr. Lartey subsequently contacted the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Hon. Elizabeth Kwatsoo Sackey to attend to the scene.

She was accompanied by the Accra Metropolitan NADMO Director, Hon. Henry Nii Lante Plange, the Public Relations Officer of Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Mr. Gilbert Nii Ankrah, some NADMO officials and staff of AMA, the Parliamentary Candidate of Odododiodoo Constituency, Hon. Manaf Sowah, New Mamprobi Electoral Area Coordinators (A&B) and scores of Polling Station Executives.

The Municipal Chief on arrival at the scene, expressed shock over the incident.

Mr.  Lartey on behalf of the Metropolitan Chief Executive and the entourage, presented an undisclosed amount of money to the victim.
