The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday left in its trail huge surprises as big party gurus lost their bid to go back to Parliament.
At least over fifteen sitting Members of Parliament across the country emerged as casualties in the fiercely contested polls.
They are: Alex Adomako, Sekyere Afram Plains, Edward Byawa, Bongo; Wisdom Gidisu, Krachie East; ABA Fuseini, Sanarigu; Abeiku Crentsil, Ekumfi; Albert Alasoka, Garu and Dela Sowah, Kpando.
The rest are Kwabena Donkor, Pru East; Sampson Chiragia. Navrongo; Augustine Tawia, Bia West; Angela Oforiwa Alorwutey, Afadjato South; Peter Yaw Kwakye, Amenfi Central; Christian Otuteye, Sege; Kwakye Ackah AmenfiK wabenya Woyome, South Tongu; Kojo Jones, Keta and Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, Sekyere Afram Plains.
They failed to get the required majority votes from NDC delegates during to represent the party in their respective constituencies.
