Simon Madjie replaces Bernice Makafui Brempong as new GIPC CEO

Simon Madjie has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), succeeding Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong, who held the position for a brief two weeks.

Dr. Brempong’s reassignment has been shrouded in mystery, with no official explanation provided by the government. However, insider sources suggest that she has been reassigned to a strategic role at the Jubilee House, the seat of government.

Her new position has not yet been publicly disclosed, leaving room for speculation about the factors that prompted the change.

Dr. Brempong, an accomplished economist and public policy expert, was appointed as the CEO of GIPC following years of service in various capacities within Ghana’s public and private sectors.
