Akufo-Addo calls for peaceful election, urges voter participation

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasized the importance of conducting peaceful elections.

Addressing journalists after voting in Kyebi in the Eastern Region, the President noted that the information he has received suggests that the election process is proceeding smoothly.

He encouraged Ghanaians to sustain this positive trend and urged those voters who have not yet participated to make their way to the polling stations to cast their votes.

“The process was excellent, very smooth, very simple, and very efficient. The reports coming from across the country suggest that this election is going very well and is being conducted peacefully. Ghanaians are showing their commitment to democratic outcomes, and we all have to be thankful to God for that. I want to tell everybody, those of you yet to vote, please go out and vote; each vote counts, and your voice matters.”
