Soldiers in Akufo-Addo’s convoy crash flown to Accra for medical treatment 

The three soldiers who were injured in  President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s convoy accident have been flown to Accra for medical treatment.

The three were involved in the fatal accident at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region.

“Three Soldiers,who got injured were rushed to the Suhum Government Hospital Emergency Center for medical treatment but an ambulance and Chopper later stormed the hospital to convey them to Accra” an update on the incident read 

 However, a driver identified as Kwasi Arthur reportedly died on the spot.

According to sources, a KIA Rhino truck crossed the convoy’s path, leading to a collision that resulted in the death of one person and left several others injured.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that additional fatalities have occurred among the injured while receiving emergency treatment at Suhum Government Hospital.

The President who had attended the funeral of former Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah in Kumasi, was not in the convoy at the time of the accident
