Upper West CHASS To Send Students Home Over Food Shortage

The Conference of Heads of Assisted Schools (CHASS) in the Upper West Region says they will be forced to request parents to feed their wards if the food shortage situation in the schools does not improve.

According to CHASS, if sufficient food and money is not received in the schools, by Friday July 15, 2022, it will be left with no other option.

The Group in a resolution signed by its Regional Secretary after a marathon meeting stated that in the interim, the schools will feed the students with whatever they have left until they run out of stock.
