Vote Boom Boom for # 1 – Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei Opare, has reminded Ghanaians to reject promises of former President John Mahama and stick with the NPP and President Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo, she said, has eased the hardships Ghanaians were facing under the Mahama-led NDC government by stabilizing the economy as well as creating jobs for the youth.

Speaking in an interview with this paper, the Chief of Staff said the promise to restore teacher and nursing training allowance, which the party made in the 2016 election campaign has been fulfilled.

“The promise to implement free Senior High School education for every Ghanaian child, which the NDC and former President Mahama vehemently opposed, has also been done.”

“Under the 1D1F Programme, the government has completed 76 factories, and more than 230 are at various stages of completion. Every constituency in the country now has an ambulance service to enhance health delivery,” she said.

She averred that the Ghana Drone Delivery Service, which was launched on 24th April 2019 to deliver medical supplies within designated areas in Ghana with the use of drones, is also in full operation

She said, “We have cleaned the mess in the financial sector that the NPP inherited and have saved the deposits of 4.6 million depositors and saved jobs.”

She stated that request for the creation of new regions made by Nananom had been a longstanding issue but under President Akufo-Addo six new regions have been created to open up developments in these places.

The Chief of Staff who is the first woman to occupy that position said Akufo-Addo has created and given more opportunities to Ghanaian women than any other political party in Ghana.

She argued that the effective management of the COVID-19 pandemic and the numerous stimulus packages to keep businesses in operation is a testament to the fact that Ghana is safe under President Akufo-Addo.

“Apart from assisting businesses to remain in operation, the government also absorbed the water and electricity costs for all consumers in the case of water and lifeline consumers in the case of electricity.”

The former Ayawaso West Wuogon MP is confident that the country will see more development in the next four years under President Akufo-Addo and urged Ghanaians to vote number one to protect the achievements the country has seen in the last four years.

Number one, which has President Akufo-Addo and NPP parliamentary candidates, she said, represents development and progress of the country.

The Chief of Staff also entreated NPP members not to take anything for granted but to go out to their polling stations and vote massively for Akufo-Addo and all the NPP parliamentary candidates
