President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed that the workers at the Presidency already miss Francis Asenso-Boakye, the former Deputy Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House.
According to the President, Asenso-Boakye was highly efficient and always delivered good news whenever he was sent on an errand.
He said that even after becoming the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House, people still remember and praise him for his hard work.
The President made these remarks on Wednesday, 15th November 2023, during the commissioning of a modern Library and Technology Hub in the Bantama constituency named after him. The new library is the 127th of its kind in the country.
President Akufo-Addo also revealed that he had known Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye since the latter’s days as a student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He expressed gratitude to Asenso-Boakye’s mentors for grooming him into a competent professional and noted that Asenso-Boakye was exceptional in all that he did.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated that he really appreciates and commends the efforts of Mr. Asenso-Boakye and his decision to name the project after named after him (President).
He noted that he was more happy because the project named after him was educational.
He asked the people of the Bantama constituency to retain Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye as their Member of Parliament in the 2024 general elections.
He stressed that it would hurt him much if the people Bantama did not retain Mr. Asenso-Boakye.
“It will hurt me so much if the people of Bantama throw him away. Give him the opportunity to represent you again and he will come and continue the good job he has been doing”.
