World Cup: Nigerian offices to close at 1:00pm for Jollof Derby return leg against Ghana

Office of the Head of Civil Service of Nigeria has directed all offices in the country to close at 1:00 pm today as part of efforts to mobilise massive support for the Super Eagles.

A Circular to Permanent Secretaries directed them to give it massive publicity to achieve the desired result.

The directive is apparently part of elaborate plans Nigeria has set out to overwhelm Ghana’s Black Stars today at the Mashood Abiola National Stadium in the 2022 World Cup playoff return leg.

Nigeria intends to bring down the Black Stars from the high heavens with the voices of Super Eagles fans by packing the Abuja Stadium.

So when the Black Stars take to the pitch in this crucial game, they won’t have only 11 players of Super Eagles to contend with but the massive noise of the thousands of fans that will fill the stadium.
