Yahaya Mohammed: My league performances will surely earn me Black Stars Call-up

Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed is hopeful his performances in the ongoing season can secure him a place in the Black Stars ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker has netted two goals in two games and provided one assist since making a return from injury.

The dreaded striker scored a brilliant free-kick over the weekend to help Aduana Stars snatch their first away win of the season against Legon Cities.

Asked by Happy FM whether he would be invited to play for the Black Stars in the future, Yahaya Mohammed responded by saying:

“The League will speak for me on my national team call up. I am available and ready to play for me when I get the invite,”

“I will do my best to help Aduana Stars anytime I come on the field. Now our performance must improve after the win. Our defeat to King Faisal was a wake-up call for all of us.” he concluded.
