You need deliverance – Kumchacha fires text-messaging Prof. Martey

Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha, has stated that former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, needs deliverance for his hypocrisy.

According to him, a person claiming to be a man of God who is not being led by his stomach and mouth will not hesitate to declare the truth regardless of which political party is in power.

He argued evil is evil and good is good and any individual professing to be doing God’s work should be able to distinguish between these two and declare it to the people.

Speaking on Accra FM’s Ghana Yensom programme on Thursday 26th May 2022 Prophet Kumchacha marvelled how the very vocal Prof. Martey could resort to text messaging to address the ills of society when he had been at the forefront of condemning the previous government.

“Under President Mahama, Prof. Martey was condemning the government and crying at the difficulties that the Ghanaian public was going through.”

“He claimed attempts were made to bribe him with dollars and big cars but he refused all and vowed to set his big dogs after those trying to bribe him to stop talking,” he said.

Prophet Kumchacha questioned what has changed today that Prof. Martey would suddenly lose his voice and stop talking about the ills of society and rather chose to text when conditions in the country are worse than they used to be when he was at his critical best.

Quoting 2 Timothy 4:2, he argued the Bible enjoins men of God to speak up and declare what is good in society and also expose the evil in society.

“Men of God must speak; say what is good and what is not good”

“If under President Mahama, Prof. Martey came out to condemn what was not good and criticized the government for the hardship but today under President Akufo-Addo he has changed tune and rather chooses to send text messages instead of condemning this government as he used to do, then he needs deliverance.”

“I, Prophet Kumchacha say this man is in serious need of deliverance.”

According to him, he condemned former President Mahama for dumsor because of the negative impact on churches, families and companies, which led a section of the Ghanaian public to accuse him of being an NPP person.

He stated that today he has spoken against the things that are not going well under President Akufo-Addo’s administration and those that are good he has also spoken about them.

He said, “When Free SHS was introduced I praised it because it will help the entire country. However, when they started this National Cathedral thing, I condemned it because God already lives and sleeps somewhere and therefore this project is needless.”

“The money being used to build the cathedral should be used to complete construction of the Accra-Kumasi road to stop the many accidents; the money should be used to renovate Korle Bu and the 37 Military Hospitals and also address the dumsor.”

“So I praise the good things that Akufo-Addo is doing and I equally condemn those things that are not good.”

“I have spoken against the high fuel prices and the exchange because that is what a Man of God is expected to do,” he added.

Prophet Kumchacha argued every good citizen should wield a double-edged sword so it can condemn both friends and foes alike when needed and stressed those who allow their stomachs and mouths to lead them will always speak like Prof. Martey.
