Dr. Evelyn Maureen Acquaye, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Benyima Farms producers of Juice Up, natural fresh fruit juice says its products are tailored to meet the health needs of its customers.
According to the American Board Certified Obstetric Anesthesiologist, the company is marketing ‘Health’ through our products while offering Juice Up Juice to the Ghanaian public as a vital part of healthy living.
She said that every condiment used in the production of its drinks have a proven health benefit adding that “It is my contribution as a medical doctor to the Ghanaian community”.
“What makes us different from everyone else is that we are selling the concept of a healthy lifestyle to extend longevity of life for the average Ghanaian”. Juice Up Juice is a good and very healthy product making it a great adjunct to preventative medicine Dr. Acquaye stated.
Speaking in an interview with the Physician-farmer, she disclosed that all the seventeen (17) varieties of the fruit juices-8 pineapple based flavors, 5 Mango based and 4 Butternut squash based have been approved by FDA of Ghana.
Dr. Acquaye explained that one interesting landmark in the company’s history, and “clearly tied to my medical background was the development of our Neem products soon after the COVID pandemic started.”
“In June 2020, we formulated a pineapple based Neem drink to specifically boost one’s immunity in the fight against Covid. We continued further to Mampong Herbal institute that did an in depth analysis of our product.”
In this current era, Dr. Acquaye indicated “the ongoing pandemic, our Neem products, now both pineapple and mango based are extremely popular amongst our customers. Juice Up juice is Natural, Fresh, with no additives preservatives or coloring and every condiment added to our base products is known to have a proven health benefit.”
Incorporated in 2013, Benyima farms is a Ghanaian owned company with a focus on fruit farming, growing pineapples, pawpaw, mangoes, coconut and passion fruits over the last 8 years.
Benyima Farms has 200 acres of farmland of which 100 acres is an established mango orchard with 7, 000 trees, 90 acres designated to a coconut plantation where 40 acres of coconut has been planted and active planting is currently ongoing and the remaining 30 acres is an established pineapple plantation.
