President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah.
The embattled Minister announced her resignation from office in a letter dated Saturday, 22nd July 2023, after a swirl of scandal about how a huge amount of money was stolen from her residence by her house help became public.
President Akufo-Addo expressed deep regret while acknowledging the Minister’s integrity during her term in office.
He expressed confidence that, in the end, her reputation would be fully established.
