The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has given the government a nine day ultimatum to grant its members better conditions of service.

The group said if the government fails to grant their members’ demands concerning their “full” conditions of service and compensate for all-year-round academic work by Wednesday, August 31, they will advise themselves.

The Association expressed disappointment that government has not handled matters to do with its members’ welfare so well.

It said government has taken a relaxed posture while tutors have been compelled to work since negotiations began in August, 2021.

In a media release on Monday, August 22, the Association made its conclusions clear.
