“You are the future; you are the reason for the investments President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is making in education. Just do everything without fear and courage and know that from Achimota School, Wesley Girls, Adisadel and Prempeh is there for you free of charge” Reverend Ntim Fordjour assured.

Reverend Ntim Fordjour, also the Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency gave the assurance when he joined the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Boye Laryea to tour some BECE Centres in the Municipality on Monday.

He urged the invigilators, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) staffs and other related officers at the various Centres to safeguard the integrity of the examination.

Hon. Laryea stated that the candidates must get it right, start well and finish well stressing that exams was about accounting for what the students had leant over the years.

He said the exams was an opportunity for the candidates to justify the investments their parents have made in them and make them proud.

The Okaikwei North MCE emphasised that the BECE was also a great chance for the candidates to chart a new path for their future by passing the exams and subsequently access the Free Senior High School Policy by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government.

Mrs. Cynthia Aboni, the Municipal Director of Education who was also part of the tour stated that the Education Directorate had organized series of programs for the candidates to adequately prepare them for the exams.

These programs she explained include subjects interactions, Study culture, mock exams, guidance and Counselling as well as WAEC briefings on the do’s and dont’s of the exams.

Mrs. Aboni added: “Our appreciation goes to parents and we are urging them to support the children at this crucial moment of writing the exams, with their hard work, the candidates will come out with flying colours”.

The Okaikwei North Education Director was empathic “your hard work and dedication will surely bring you success in the examination and all your endeavours.”
